We take a lot of "sunday drives"...

and they are not always taken on a Sunday. When we say we've taken a "Sunday" drive we mean that we've decided to see where the day takes us. It's a nice way to relax and it's always an adventure since there are no expectations. Today we ended up at the Channel Islands Harbor, but on a side we usually don't frequent. It's definitely the more "shabby" side of the harbor as there are two buildings that have been deserted. They were once a restaurant and hotel. I remember them from the 1970's when they were both very "ritzy" places. It's a shame to see the decrepit state these buildings are now in. Even so, there is beauty to be found if you look for it.

Linking up with Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday.

Take care,

yes Sunday drives without a plan can sometimes lead us to wonderful places we have never visited before.
